Empty Bowls 2025
Join Friendship Mission at Empty Bowls, our signature fundraising and awareness event. Empty Bowls is the opportunity to gather as a community to celebrate the stories of HOPE and the PATH to HOME, to learn about the current state of Friendship Mission as the only year-round homeless shelter for many counties, and to raise the funding necessary to keep our services going. Enjoy a simple and delicious meal of locally prepared and loved comfort foods and bid for good at the onsite silent auction, where you can win the best services, items, and experiences. Let’s gather for good to fight hunger and homelessness at Friendship Mission’s Empty Bowls.

Admission: $25 per person or $45 for two people.
Your ticket includes a meal of food locally made and loved, a chance to bid on and win amazing silent auction items and experiences, and the opportunity to hear from those who have overcome homelessness with Friendship Mission.
Proceeds from this signature event will support Friendship Mission, Inc.’s programs and general operations of its shelters and public soup kitchen. Between the shelters and the soup kitchen combined, Friendship Mission serves more than 66,805 meals annually and shelters more than 350 people annually. Friendship Mission is the only year-round homeless shelter program in Montgomery, Autauga, Elmore, Dallas, Lowndes, Macon, and other Alabama counties.
